Nowadays the standard of nursing profession is increasing rapidly. Nursing practices and techniques have seen a sea change in its understanding and dissemination of information. As per the changing phase of nursing profession, many colleges and institutions are therefore offering MSc Nursing course. The matter of concern is that there are very few books available in the market which emphasize on the recent advances in nursing practices. After observing the crucial requirement of the students, I have written this book according to the latest INC syllabus. This book does not attempt to achieve a comprehensive introduction to the field. The book is sufficiently wide-ranging to include something of interest for most students. I make no claim to be comprehensive. But, I hope that this book offers the first step into a detailed study of the advanced nursing.
