FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEBIASAAN PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH RUMAH TANGGA DI DESA MARGASANA WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KRAMATWATU TAHUN 2022

Garbage is closely related to public health, because from the garbage will live various disease-causing microorganisms (pathogenic bacteria) and also insect animals as a transfer / spreader of disease (vectors). The purpose of this study was to determine factors related to household waste management habits in Margasana Village, Kramatwatu Health Center working area in 2022. The research design was cross sectional. The research population was 1,520 families in Margasana Village with a sample of 100 people who were taken with cluster random sampling technique. Primary data was obtained using a questionnaire and also made direct observations, while secondary data was obtained from data from the Kramatwatu Health Center and the Environmental Service. Data analysis was performed using the chi square test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that there were 64 (64%) respondents who were not used to waste management, 53 (53%) respondents had poor knowledge, 62 (62%) respondents behaved poorly, 53 (53%) respondents behaved poorly, 75 (75%) of respondents do not have facilities and infrastructure available. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between knowledge (Pvalue=0.006), behavior (Pvalue=0.000), facilities and infrastructure (Pvalue=0.000) and waste management habits. Meanwhile, there is no significant relationship between attitude (Pvalue=1,000) and household waste management habits. Suggestions for the Kramatwatu Health Center is that it is necessary to conduct sanitarian training by involving the Environmental Service and health cadres regarding waste management, especially waste generated by households.
